Could you please explain what is the motto for developing this method to analyse these drugs simultaneously? I mean what is the significance of this method and why did you chose these drugs to be analysed simultaneously?

This is outside my research area, but a quick review of the literature shows studies involving use of captopril, lisinopril and enalapril to alter ACE activity. Since many cardiovascular patients also are diabetics or pre-diabetic they may also be taking metformin. I dont have access to this paper, but assuming they address the need/significance of this assay in their intro/discussion.
The main purpose of analysing those analytes in to single run to save time and resources. Individual method for analysis also requires more sample volume in case of human plasma sample analysis. Simulteneous determination reduces the requirement of additional sample volume which is ethical issue.
These drugs are commonly prescribed together for patients with both diabetes and high blood pressure, which are commonly found in the same patient. I imagine that the significance of this work is in being able to measure the blood plasma levels of these drugs simultaneously to see if their concurrent use affects metabolism in any way. If it does, then dosing of the drugs needs to be adjusted accordingly.
