I have to isolate some lactic acid bacteria which includes Weissella spp.
For lactobacillus, I used an MRS medium, but I don't think the same media can be used for Weissella spp.

Maybe you could try MRS + calcium carbonate.

Weissella is leuconostoc like bacteria, it grows well in MRS. It is mannitol negative lactobacilli.
MRS-vancomycin then HDD medium then 16s rDNA for identification your isolate.
