Still, I am looking for the most recent and the less investigated remediation method. It is better if the method could be easily conducted within a laboratory or greenhouse.

Among methods with using electricity( electrical resistance heating,radio frequency heating, thermal conduction) most suitable and easy for conducting in laboratory is electrical resistance heating method. This method used in-situ, but it is possible to apply in laboratory as an experiment trying to get different variations.

It depends on which types of pollutants you want to remove. Many innovative methods doesn't work on specific types of contaminants. However, enhanced Biodegradation, air stripping, soil Vapor Extraction, and air Sparging are the newest methods but are less studied and require a piece of profound knowledge. If you want the easiest, most cost-effective, and most studied way then I suggest you make a novel immobilizing or adhesive material by yourself. Such as poultry manure, etc.
