I conducted a pilot study on the same topic, but since I used a picture narrative task developed by Derwing et al. (2009), which was originally designed for measuring oral fluency and not formulaic sequences, very few formulaic sequences were used by the participants. I need a speech elicitation task that would be appropriate for measuring both oral fluency and the use of formulaic sequences.
