Thank you for your answer. I actually want to observe the movement of donkeys while they are being packed, and then observe them using a camera .The video will then be analyzed for stride length, step length e.t.c using a videosoftware, however i do not know how feasible this is.
You can use an acelerometric device to perform step gait analysis. It measures strengh, lenght and simetry of the gait among other parameters. It is also very easy to use.
