I will be doing a fluid flow experiment on cells and I was wondering what are the best, yet affordable peristaltic pump and fluid-flow meter/shear stress detector available in the market?
Absolutely agree with Dr. Barstein, Harvard pumps are very good.
Sometimes hydrostatics is enough to get the cells to flow through the microchannels of the device. We used both the pump and the hydrostatics. It is easy, and there are no problems with pressure differences when the microchannels are occluded.
