It depends on the questionnaire's level of measurement (ordinal/interval) and the distribution of your questionnaire score.

My big deal is that inside my questionnaire the answer for each separate questions is ordinal (Very often; Quite often; Occasionally;Very rarely;Never) scored from (0-4), (it could change for different items) but the total is the amount of all items (normally distrubted). So finally, is this total score ordinal or interval? (i would say interval...)

It's both ordinal and interval. I take the impression that you want to correlate ordinal vs quantitative. Look at the following link.
