Hello folks,

There is an interesting topic, which we are usually discussing among colleagues during our friendly gatherings. What is the most abundant mineral in the Universe? To be clear, not only the terrestrial planets, and celestial bodies in the inner Solar system, or jovial planets, but including stars, nebulas, galaxies and the vast empty space out there.

We discussed several possibilities (olivine, bridgmanite - stony planets, metallic hydrogen - cores of gaseous giants), but there is only one candidate at the final: diamond (carbon spread to the space by carbon deflagration).

What do you think? Any other suggestion and explanation?
