It was perhaps 'Cancerous stem cell ratio'. The probable meaning is in some study, the ratio of normal stem cells and cancerous stem cells was not influenced by the herbal extract of some plant added with it.
Practically such result is expected. Any solvent extracted part of a plant part generally does not represent the plant in true sense. So the actual effects of herbs cannot be determined by such experiments.
Is this from a study? They should define extract. For example, all tinctures are extracts, but not all extracts are tinctures. I’ve found studies like this extract a particular isolated photochemical which the researchers deem to be the one supposedly active against what they are studying (here, cancer stem cell ratio). I agree with Mr. Pattanayak in that these (isolated) extracts do not represent the whole plant and therefore do not represent the plant’s traditionally known action and have little real world value.
