And it is unclear to me what exactly is meant by a "sterile transcript" and how it has been described in the context of the paper. I would appreciate it if someone can provide a little insight.

Sterile Transcript also designated as " germline transcript" but production of antibodies is not restricted to germline cells, explain it...?
