Sometimes we observed a single excitation with multiple emission patterns in EEM, and sometimes otherwise. What is the meaning of each phenomenon? Is that means several compounds exist with similar molecular structure in the sample? Then, what is the variation of the compound molecular structure that makes it different in excitation (with single emission) and different in emission wavelength (with single excitation)?
