When we look at the sky while an aircraft is on flight we see it minimized. What is the maximum distance we can see in the sky till the aircraft if travels ever as a dot or invisible I daylight? Is measurement of speed of light subjective or not?
The moon does not physically change its size or distance from Earth as it moves across the sky. It's all in our heads. The apparent different size of Moon is an optical illusion which causes the Moon to appear larger near the horizon than it does higher up in the sky.
At some angle the eye sees the moon as a flat disc. Now we are on a curve but our eyes show us a flat moon as we see a flat earth or a flat sun. Can we find that out?
That simply means that you can clearly see something 20 feet away that you should be able to see from that distance. If you have 20/100 vision, you would still be able to see an object clearly from 20 feet away, but someone with normal vision would see it clearly from 100 feet.
Visual acuity of humans and ants if compared would it differ. If I place a finger on the path the ant is treading I can measure the visual sharpness by moving my finger backwards and check at which point the ant changes its direction. Generally it changes just where the finger is placed.
