The measurement equation of the Balloon hemodynamic model (Friston 2002) which represent the BOLD signal is V0[ k1(1 - q) + k2(1-q/v) + k3(1-v)], I saw from different papers that the authors used the BOLD (%) percent change, if I simulated the BOLD signal using the Balloon model (with measurement equation  above, a Blocked design example) with the parameters as in Friston 2002, the BOLD signal reach a value of 0.015 but as I said before large numbers of paper used the BOLD (%)  which reach a value as I saw from 1 to  1.5.

what is the mathematical relation to calculate the BOLD (%)?
