I am facing a problem on this using GC-MS to analyze my target sample from a plant material

I measured and mixed 1:10 of my sample to acetone for the analysis of my sample uisng GC-MS : A blank acetone solution was used as my standard.....Please can i get a correct yield using this formula ..I saw the formula in a paper too but i dont know if it is correct...Please comment on this.

Yield of Target Compound= (Peak Area of Target Sample) / ( Sum of Peak Area * Weight of Dried Sample) multiply by 100 %
