Are the structural and morphological properties contribute to the quality (in term of electrical and optical transmittance in visible range) of the transparent conductive contacts? Such as ITO, ZnO or combination metal-TCO such as Ni/ITO, Al/ITO etc.
the most important factor that the TCO materials affected by is the electrical prob. (sheet resistance R) thats measuring by four point prob or Hall effect
Obviously transparency, electrical conductivity and minimum contact resistance as well as contact behaviour of TCO on semiconductor..........
If you want to measure simple I/V curves and your conductivity if high, then it will make a difference whether your metal contact is of Ohmic or Schottky type. A good way to measure microstructural, electronic and optical propoerties of thin films is EELS in a TEM.
Are the carrier concentration of semiconductor do play an important role in determining the specific contact resistance (Ohm-cm2). How about the thermionic emission, thermionic field emission and field emission?
Besides that, what is the factor that affect the optical transparency of the TCO?
