How does indexing work?
Once a journal is indexed by a database, it is immediately made available to all users of that database. Some databases index titles, some index full articles while some others index only the abstract and/or references. There are several abstracting and indexing services available today. Some are affiliated with institutions (e.g., PubMed maintained by the United States National Library of Medicine at the National Institute of Health) while some are provided by publishers (e.g., Scopus by Elsevier). Irrespective of which institution the database is affiliated with, you will need to formally apply for inclusion in the database of your choice.

But what about Book indexing. Is it the same or different like journals...
Some of the indexing sites are similar to both Journals and Book and some are different.
BASE, OpenAIRE, Web of Science, EBSCo host are reputed indexing sites for Books where we can get mostly high quality Books.
Researchers or Publisher can upload their research articles (if not included) in some of the indexing sites BASE, ZENODO etc. to increase their visibility and citations-as well.
In ordre to enhance the visibility of thier journals: citations and references.

- Researchers who publish regularly in this journal
- The members of the editorial committee, guarantors of the journal quality..
- Badges
- Science topic
- Similar topics
