What we know is that galactic velocity profiles can be better modelled by the addition of some dark and ponderable material. And so dark matter is added to improve those models.
At present, I'm fairly sure that nobody knows what dark matter *is* - if it is real (as seems likely) then we know only two properties of it - mind, I gather that it is unlikely to be baryonic.
So, if we continue the consideration above, there is no essential problem to define on the satisfactory level in this case what is the identity of the matter. In the Shevchenko and Tokarevsky’s conception “The Information as Absolute” it is rigorously proven that all what exist, observabdle and non-observable, is/are some informational patterns/systems of the patterns that are elements of the absolutely fundamental and absolutely infinite “Information” Set.
Thus every material object, i.e. a particle, body, etc., and the system “Matter” as a whole is some informational pattern and nothing else.
Further from the experimenat fact that, because of the energy conservation law, every material object constantly always changes its states, either internal or position in the 3D space, and from that , however, at that particles have stable properties, follows that particles are some closed-loop logical algorithms that constantly run as cyclic sequential flipping of some 4D fundamental logical elements (FLE), moving so in the dense lattice of the FLEs as some disturbances of this lattice.
At that FLE aren’t some purely binary elements, in particles’ algorithms’ chains there are some FLE-sections where the charges of the fundamental Nature forces [Gravity, EM, weak and strong] are written; thus the algorithms are non-symmetrical at reverse commands order; so particles are the algorithms that run at the direct order and the antiparticles are the same algorithms, but with reverse order.
From what further follow that particles, where there are no charges, besides the gravitational charge be written, can have completely symmetrical algorithms, i.e. it is impossible to differ them as particles and antiparticles, and so it is logically permissible for all of them to be only particles.
From what in turn follows that if at Beginnimg Matter consisted from such particles only, then in Matter never was some essential part of the antimatter, as that is now; and, besides, if such particles remain be stable till now, they can constitute the dark matter, if this matter exists.
