I want to use 3 omega technique for thermal conductivity measurement of thin films. I have Lock-in amplifier only. I know we can excite the signal using current source and then use reference signal from current source to lock-in amplifier for frequency lock-in. But, I am willing to use only lock-in amplifier for exciting the signal and measuring the response. How can I excite the sample using lock-in amplifier and simultaneously detect the third harmonic response from the same lock-in? Please advice. Thank you!
