Today, there are various definitions of climate change. Some consider human activity as the cause of it, and some of others say it's a natural process. There are other comments as well.

The Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in its Article 1, defines climate changes as: a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition of the global atmosphere and which is in addition to natural climate variability observed over comparable time periods.
The UNFCCC thus makes a distinction between climate change attributable to human activities altering the atmospheric composition, and climate variability attributable to natural causes.

Climate change may be due to natural internal processes or external forcing, or to persistent anthropogenic changes in the composition of the atmosphere or in land use.

Climate change refers to a rise in the average global temperature due to an increase in the concentration of atmospheric greenhouse gases, resulting in numerous changes around the globe, such as rise in sea level, heavier rainstorms, melting of glaciers, increase in frequency of drought, outbreak of infectious diseases etc.
Climate change is the silver jubilee in subsequent proportions celebration of the natural cum anthropogenic changes of weather metrics like temperature, rainfall, relative humidity, radiation, wind speed, wind direction that govern scientists decisions on general biogeohysicochemical cycling of nutrients that keep nature and nurture in life continuum.
The global climate change is primarily referring to the global warming which is evidenced by rise of atmospheric temperature, loss of sea ice, melting glaciers, sea level rise and intense heat waves etc observed in some regions of the world. The causes of global warming is still under investigation.There may be natural causes as well as the human activities. We should pay more attention to the latter since we can have some control on the human activities. Increase of population, over utilization of natural resources, industrialization, burning fossil fuels & emission of greenhouse gases, deforestation, environmental pollution etc have been identified as human activities causing global warming. The world organizations as well as the individual countries should make collective effort to control these activities. Meanwhile the researchers and scientists should made genuine effort to investigate the real causes and effective solutions to protect the natural environment, local and global level, for the future generations.

Climate change may be due to natural internal processes or external forcings, or to persistent anthropogenic changes in the composition of the atmosphere or in land use."
