Two of my case reports have been 'CITED' in 'Reactions' (a springer journal) under certain drug effects. They are published under subscription basis so the citations are not counted in RG or Google scholar. What is the average embargo period of such articles and if these are never made free to access, will the citations never counted?

It is not possible to determine the average embargo period for articles published under subscription basis in Springer journals. However, it is important to note that citation tracking tools like Google Scholar and ResearchGate may not track citations for journals that are not open access or behind a paywall. So if the case reports are never made available for free, it is possible that they may not be counted in these citation tracking tools.

First let me express that your assumption that citations from a subscription-based journal are not counted (or only counted after an embargo period) is not true. Obviously, there might be a little delay since a subscription-based journal follow a procedure of accepted version, on line first version and the final version with issue and page numbers etc. but depending on the publisher this can be quite fast.
Just literally a few minutes ago I received a notification from RG about a new citation for one of my papers:

from a subscription-based journal:https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0308814623006106?via%3Dihub so citations from a subscription based journal count (and can be added quite rapidly).
In your case I think the ‘problem’ is the special nature of the journal(?) “reactions weekly” https://www.springer.com/journal/40278 It is more of a ‘newspaper’ where one can address special attention to a recently published case report (in another ‘real’ journal). It looks to me that Springer (or RG?) stopped with downloading some meta-data of new items quite some years ago. Only the items (like you have done with the one you wrote) which are uploaded by the author themselves will be ‘indexed’ and counted.
