Use of Nanotechnology for Water Filtration for drinking purpose has already established to have some proven records. However, kindly update on the following issues :-
(a) What are the best Nanoparticles to be used for water filtration in mixure or layer with normal sand?
(b) Also how do these Nanoparticles react meaningfully with microbes as well as chemical pollutants in water?
(c) What is all about necessary cleaning options for such Nanoparticles used for water filtration? Depending on it's life, is there any scope for regeneration of used Nanoparticles?
(d) What might be the options for final disposal after exhaustion of treatment capacity
