I have no previous experience in this regard. I think fast growing crops will benefit more from compost tea application as nutrients are soluble and readily available.
One of the advantages of liquid fertilizers is that they provide a great amount of flexibility: it is possible to adjust directly by cultivation and react quickly to the development of deficiency symptoms. Results of liquid fertilizers are visible within days. Furthermore, the liquid fertilizers are very easy to distribute and grant broad coverage.
It is well-known that bio-compost or bio-fertilizer replaces the synthetic fertilizer in agroecosystem and suitable for a green environment. Nowadays, some bacterial genera as well as many other bio-fertilizers are being applied to many plants to alter their physiologically and anatomically behaviours to get vigorous growth and enhance fruiting as well vital components of soils. They are involved in various biotic activities of the soil ecosystem to make it dynamic for nutrient turnover and sustainable for crop production.
Unique BIO-CARBON Liquid fertilizers suitable for all crops CONTAINS 16 ESSENTIAL MACRO & MICRO NUTRIENTS. Provides nutrients for flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs and house plants. Advantages of liquid fertilizer are its more rapid effect and easier coverage.
Because of its liquid form, intake of the nutrients by plants or trees is expedited. It can be used for home or fields. Unique in market with more ORGANIC CARBON thereby improving photosynthesis & Soil Organic Carbon (SOC).
DOSAGE: aerial 3-5 ML / Liter of water (Once in 15 days) Drenching : 3 Liter / Acre (Once in 30 Days) .* Flowering & Fruits depend on the photo period and varies in winter & summer. * The crop yield may vary based on the management practices & other environmental condition like temperature, light, etc.
My experience is that Bio-fertilizer, not necessarily liquid fertilizer enhances the plant growth & productivity. Also there is a significant improvement in taste over produce using chemical inputs.
The nutrients in liquid fertiliser will be utilised faster by plant for better growth and yield performance because they are in solution form .Besides, the quantity of solid compost to use for preparing the liquid will be lesser than the one applied to the field in the solid form, also, the application of liquid fertiliser will help to reduce the problems of bulkiness and difficulty in transportation of organic fertilisers to the field . However,it requires a constant source of pure water and technicality in diluting the concentration of liquid for effective uptake as well as avoiding scorching of the plants
Dear Bruno , This fertilizer proved to be effective in increasing production. In addition, it has a very effective role in disease resistance and improvement of plant nutritional status in terms of addition or processing of plants with stimulants and growth stimulants resulting from the metabolism of these developing organisms on these wastes or compost
Its simply booming response of biofertilizers in fruits and vegetables. The only constraint , we face about method of spplication and the conditions under which , maximum benefits of biofertilization can be harnessed...
Liquid biofertilizers should not be looked at as one stop shop but as a very important tool in the nutrient uptake by a crop. That said, the biologicals within are important to the crop's nutrient cycle. Yes they allow for very efficient uptake of nutrients and dependent on which cocktail of microbes are used in the development of the compost tea, many other beneficial metabolites such as root growth hormones, vitamins, different enzymes and amino acids and etc are produced that will enhance the beneficial effects, and response by the plants, to the liquid biofertilizers.
Organic manure tea or specifically compost tea bypasses the need for decomposition and mineralisation of the solid forms of manure in the first instance. Vegetables are mostly short duration crops and will therefore benefit tremendously from this added advantage. i have experienced the production of peppers and tomatoes using tea derived from the dissolution of farm yard manure in water over time. The challenge however is on the determination of rates as far as application is concerned.
Liquid fertilizer best as compliments to biofertilizer and urea in granules or powdery formats., examples like tree crops are better with slow release fertilizer. The strength of Liquid fertilizer are micronutrients for crops.
The liquid fertiliser can be used for foliar application to crops because it is easy to absorb through the leaves,in addition,it is useful to raise seedlings in the nurseries to enhance faster growth.
Just went yesterday to visit Organic Orchards & Vegetable Gardens. Look & taste improve in most cases. The main issue in getting them to market is that they have a lower shelf-life.
There are numbers of reports that compost tea improves crop yield. Efficient application of this material may be helpful in increasing fertiliser use efficiency in Indian agriculture also .However, systematic detailed studies on use of compost tea are lacking. Different workers extract it from different kinds of composts using several compost: extractant ratios. Moreover, keeping quality of this product is poor.Studies on standardizations of the method for compost tea preparation and also maintenance of its quality are necessary. For popularizing uses of compost tea, more attentions are to be paid on these aspects .
