What is the effect of selection of oil on microemulsion droplet size?

It is observed that high molecular wt Or long chain length of oils result in increased droplet size of microemulsion in general (keeping other variables constant) . Can anyone suggest any publications explaining relationship of nature of oil used on droplet size or any known examples?
