We are using Microalgae (Scenedesmus sp) to mitigate CO2 from flue gas. This flue gas has a small proportion of methane in it. Will it negatively effect the microalgae growth or it can use it as a carbon source? There is no such study available in literature. Any supporting material will be highly appreciated.

Growth and lipid production of microalgae were investigated, with attention to the feasibility of making use of flue gas CO2 as a carbon source. Methane also act as the carbon source.
