I'm looking for documentation and papers describing the effect of cyclic feed concentration on membrane fouling. by cyclic concentration, I mean a feed which has a non-constant concentration and varies like a sinusoidal function, as opposed to what is usually done in conventional membrane processes where feed concentration is constant all the time.

The process is a little bit strange to me. For fouling of a RO membrane, concentration is not the only factor. What is more important is the accumulation of the fouling layer. In batch separations, the concentration changes all the time while in a so-called constant concentration case, the fouling get serious as the thickness of the matter absorbed on the membrane surface.
