Objective: I'm launching a series of new experiments and will need some answers and advice.

My questions:

1- do you know of any studies that looked at the effect of adding pro-inflammatory cytokines on the integrity of neurons in culture? I need to decide which concentrations to use. I'll start with IL-6 and TNF-alpha.

2- do you have a suggestion on adding an NO donor to cultured neurons? do you have a catalog number for a good NO donor? I'm looking for an NO donor with a half-life of a few hours or days.
