I have looked into a lot of papers but majority of them use either toxic chemicals (like electropolymerization of pyrrole and entrapment of GOD into the polypyrrole, crosslinking with glutaraldehyde) or long process (24h+ incubation before use).

What method is usually used in mass production of glucose sensors? It must be something like one or two steps drop coating. Or am I missing something here?

I have been trying to use various polymer matrices with carbon screen printed electrode but the repeatability of the measurements was very bad, the GOD seems to fly out of the working electrode during dipping of the electrode into buffered solution with glucose.
