In much of the literature I have studied they show only the preparation of ink loaded on glassy carbon electrode for electrochemical behavior of the catalyst through cyclic voltmeter. Can I use the same prepared ink after 1-week or one month for further analysis?
Although it's recommended to use freshly-prepared catalyst inks for preparing thin-film electrodes, older suspensions can be used for the same purpose, i.e. after 1 week or even longer periods. Naturally, the powder catalyst will settle over time but it could be easily re-suspended using an ultrasound bath. You could confirm the homogeneity of the catalyst ink by monitoring the cycling voltammogram of your catalyst and checking that you get a reproducible I-E relationship, meaning that you get a similar catalyst loading every time, or, even better, checking the activity of the electrode for a characteristic electrochemical reaction (i.e. CO Stripping or Oxygen Reduction in the case of Pt-based catalysts).

I agree with Amado, but sometimes it depends on the properties and nature of your catalyst. E.g. Ag particles should be kept away of light. So, by testing your catalyst (CV) after time you can decide.
