In philosophy and science the terms/concepts of 'level' and 'dimension' are used, e.g. 'meta-level' language in the analytic philosophy, or 'the fourth dimension' in physics. What are the precise definition these terms?
Thank you Tunc for searching after the difference. But what I mean by 'difference' is: Is there any 'distinction' between those two concepts? My 'finger-spitzen-gefuhl' says: yes! And I am searching after the logical arguments for that 'distinction'.
I can add a third 'concept', viz. that of 'order'. It is generally defined by the quantum physicist David Bohm as: 'to give attention to similar differences and different similarities', citing Biederman (see his 'Wholeness and the implicate order'). However medieval philosophers had a more complete definition of this concept, it seems to me, viz. the definition/description of the concept of 'analogy' (see e.g. Aquinas).
What is your opinion? But EVERYBODY can react upon this QUESTION...
