First of all, it is necessary to understand that both individual and collective skills are mandatory (nowadays in all companies, industries, and services). Individual education provides useful "how to do" to all students. However, the degree of domain and expertise depends on the intelligence and thinking of each student (logic, abstraction, maths, among others). Collective education promotes the collaborative work, which is necessary for almost all types of professions. The multidisciplinary work enables participation, collaboration, discussion and different perspectives to solve problems or propose new alternatives to face daily and professional challenges.

I think both approaches are necessary and complementary. A module or course should include individual and collective learning and assessment activities.

Collective education is a good occasion for students to exchange perspectives and viewpoints. By definition, in individual education there is no opportunity for the student to exchange perspectives and viewpoints with his/her peers.

Collective is when the teacher ask and teach the class as a whole or one group or even more than one group. Individual, on the other hand, when the teacher assigns questions or duties for each individual student. I think both of them are important and the good teacher should make a mix.

Both are important as students need to be able to complete a task on their own and also to complete it collaborative that require them to develop their team-building skills. No one is better than the other. I am attaching an example of a collaborative debate that develops both students collective as well as individual scholarship on the topic. Thanks a lot for this question. Thanks so much to all colleagues for their interesting contributions. I believe that man is in learning state for always. These learning states can be classified into two groups: individual state and collective state. As explained by some contributors, both states of learning are important and must lived by each student. For instance, each exam is considered by some authors as an individual occasion of learning. In some games like Foot ball, Handball, rugby, the collective learning is a must. Besides, man or woman after several years of experience can be selected among several persons to be in the head of something (manager), so the new manager needs the individual and the collective learning .
