One Health seems to imply the integration of Human, Veterinary, and Environmental Health at any geographic level, while One World Health seems to emphasize Global Health. But there seems to be some overlap, ambiguity, and inconsistency in the use of these terms. I am seeking various perspectives on this.
I think One World Health seems to imply the integration of human,veterinary,environmental health at any geographic level too.Because animal health and human health are linked and without omitting the role of environmental influences.
In contrast to the term or concept 'One Health' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Health), 'OneWorld Health' is the name of a non-profit pharmaceutical company, affiliated with PATH, which operates in the Global Health sector and develops therapies for diarrheal diseases, malaria and and kala-azar. http://www.oneworldhealth.org
One health focuses on unitary effort of medical,veterinary and social scientists to mitigate a problem and combating emerging diseases.On the other hand one world health is a global issue which emphasizes on a global approach to a healthier nations through combined efforts and application of all biomedical knowledge and understandings.
