I have a question, what is difference between Gc and Jc?
I want to model an elasto-plastic beam with a crack, as we know in elasto-plastic material we should use Jc, and compare J with Jc for crack propagation.
Can I use Gc=Jc or not?

Use the J-integral when you expect plasticity at the crack tip. Irwin's "G" is used for linear elastic fracture models.
