I have two set of data, one is the the gas content w.r.t to temperature and the other is gas yield w.r.t to temperature. I cannot correlate the behaviour. The two graphs tells the very different relations for individual gas component. I might be wrong.
Like: The content of CO2 decreased significantly, as the temperature increased. While in the context of gas yield, the yield of CO2 increased somehow. I am not able to put the two behaviours into words. I got confused about the gas yield and gas content.
It appears to me that gas content is an analysis of the gas composition and sums to 100% while gas yield is an indicator of the fraction of the original mass that converts to a gas-phase product. For example, the data suggest that the lowest temperature converts 4% of the biomass to CO2 and that 75% of all the gas that is produced is CO2. In this case, the gas content should be the ratio of any one gas yield to the sum of all of the gas yields at a given temperature.

Gas content is the total content of gas and the gas yield is the gas evolved at any temperature.Naturally once the gas is evolved the gas content will reduce. Gas content and gas yield can be correlated.

Just to add to Dr Borah's response, the gas composition (vol%) is usually determined from GC (gas chromatography) analysis. However, the gas yield is determined from the air flow rate of gasifying medium and mass flow rate of biomass. The paper by Lahijani & Zainal Bioresource Technology 102 (2011) 2068–2076 gives a clear explanation of how to calculate the gas yield using the Xiao Formula (Xiao et al (2006) Energy Fuels 20, 715–720).
