Hi Atish Bhattacharjee, to be honest: I never heard about these terms. However, I assume that in your case you need to use a bubbler to deliver your precursor into the gas phase. The problem with most organolanthanide precursors such as La(C5H4nPr)3 is that they are not very volatile and also extremely air-sensitive. Vapor-type precursors are presumably those which are readily vaporized, e.g. trimethylgallium. You should check out the article cited below. It describes readily available alternative precursors for the ALD fabrication of lanthanide oxide thin films, e.g. homoleptic lanthanide amidinates and guanidinates.

La(PrCp)3 is a precursor with low-vapor pressure, not like TMA or TICl4. you need to do saturation test to check if you have enough precursor delivery.

In vapor draw, the precursor container is the vaporizer and can be heated. There is no carrier gas flow inside the container, Vapors can be mixed with carrier gas at container outlet. But in bubbler type, bubbler is the precursor container and the vaporizer. The container can be heated and a carrier gas flow into the container and delivered through the liquid to extract some precursor vapor. Disadvantage of the bubbler is very poor control of the vapor flow.
