I know that CryoStore has a food and drug administration (FDA) master file to be use as cryopreservation medium but not sure is there are others? Anyone has an idea?
The FDA has approved several cryopreservation media for different purposes. For example, "Medi-Cult Sperm Freeze Medium" is approved for the cryopreservation of human spermatozoa and tissue from testicular biopsies. Another example is "NutriFreez D10 Cryopreservation Medium" which is approved for the cryopreservation of human embryonic stem (ES), induced pluripotent stem (iPS), and mesenchymal stem cells. Additionally, "PRIME-XV Stem FreezIS DMSO-Free Cryopreservation Medium" has been approved for use in FDA-authorized clinical trials. These are just a few examples, and there are other FDA-approved cryopreservation media available for different applications.
