I have generated LC-MS lipidomics data from mammalian germ cells. Out of the data, I couldn't find any glycolipids and very few phospholipids and most of the data contains metabolites. I would like to know what approach I need to follow in order to get glycolipids data. I first extracted lipids using Bligh and Dyer organic solvent method. Dried the lipids under a stream of nitrogen gas and sent the sample in dry ice for LC-MS (Outsourcing). What are the other things I should consider in order to get something productive out of this data?
