I am just doing some budget estimates for a project and I can't find the cost average cost of Vemco acoustic transmitters. I know these are very common for animal tracking and someone reading this has purchased these tags and probably knows the answer! For further clarification, I am interested in the cost of the V13 size tag but would like to know the price ranges in general for these types of transmitters.
The basic Vemco transmitters generally cost the same regardless of the size, and are typically about $350 USD each. If you want to add advanced sensors (e.g., temperature or depth) to the transmitters, they generally cost about $850 USD each.
