It is very interesting work as we try to correlate radon and radium content data. As radon is produced from radium in soil, so in absence of any radon source other than that distributed in soil, we should get excellent correlation. In a measurement over Jaduguda Tailing pond Dr.B.K.Sahoo, BARC got that, in my paper earlier in 1988 I assumed that. Now, if there is any other source of radon then this correlation breaks down i.e., it becomes poor. It is an indication of either buried source of radon or some fracture due to earthquake through which radon is transported [Dr.R.C.Ramola in 2008 publication in Rad. Meas. highlighted that]. This happens to be new theory.
