How much stress can mild steel withstand during compression. I can only find the tensile strength online
If the steel is C15, with the material at 900°C 144 MPa, while at 1200°C 65 MPa.
At ambient temperature between (160 to 200) MPa. It depends according to the deformation grade applied.
as far as my information steel is kept for getting tensile load as you have rightly said.
compression property of steel is almost same as tensile.
compressive strength of mild steel Fe 250 is about 140 to 160MPa
Hello All,
Would it be correct to say the compressive strength of S275 steel is almost the same as the tensile yield? I'm looking for data and can't find a great deal
This might be a very naive question but I've not been successful in finding sources that explicitly say that the cells are alive post staining. Do Romanowsky stains such as Giemsa, Wright etc....
