You can use Plotly|Dash for both live and static dashboards in python (https://dash.plotly.com/live-updates). If you haven't worked worked with Dash before, then this tutorial video by Charming Data would help: https://youtu.be/hSPmj7mK6ng (it sure worked for me).

Hi how are you. We have basically some options in order to create a live Dashboard I will mention some of them:

1) You can use dash and plotly basically modules and all the the packages that you use for proccessing the data. Here is one example:

2) You can use a combination of Python, virtualenv (in order to create an isolated Python environment), Flask (in order to create the backend structure) and the Pusher library. Here is one example:

3) Other possibility is create the dashboard using Django and on this case you need Python, Django, virtualenv, FlexMonster and SQLlite.
