I have two MT datasets collected from two places. In one place data is acquired in several profiles, in a grid. And in the other place the measurement was taken along one profile. I only have MT measurement in both places, no TEM data. My plan is to do 2D and 3D inversion.
So, what is the best approach to remove the static shift in these conditions?

Does your data include topography? It has been demonstrated that hills and valleys result in a distortion of the currents. You may start by model the topography, in case you have, and analyze if some of your observed data can be explained by the topographic contributions (resulting from modeling).
