I plan to carry out a study where I run mice on a treadmill for 6 weeks. I would like to have blood samples from before they exercise and at weekly timepoints. Briefly, we want to look at peripheral markers of inflammation.

I was considering either the tail vein method, cheek, or retro-orbital. Which would interfere the least with their ability to run, provide the least amount of stress, and allow for weekly collections?
