Hello,

Ethanol extraction you can easily dilute in water without any limitation.

Ethylacetae extraction you can dilute 8.5-9.5 ml in 100 ml of water (so 9.5% w/w is your maximum limitation).

Hexane has very low solubility in water so you cant dilute with water.

Also if you have substances dissolved in non polar solvent in most of cases it's impossible to solve in polar solvent.

I am agree with Karen , I think in the case of ethyl acetate it needs heating to 35 and hexane to higher degree.
