According to your experience What is the best tissue technology can be adopted modern in the cutting of the eyes of the embryos of birds in the stages of development of the lens, after the age of 96 hours and up
At this early stage of development you can do a fixation of the embryo in Bouins fluid for 6 hours, transfer them in 70% ethanol and then embed them in paraffin.

For other tissue of eye any common fixative gives good results but problem comes with tunic and lens what I have experienced during my research in PhD.
For early stages bouin's fluid or even 10% NBF is good fixative followed by alcohol-acetone- benzene or xylene sequence is good.
But for later or advanced stages better to go for Davidson's fixative for 24-48 hrs. And inject some amount from the limbus too. After that same processing schedule or the protocol given in Bancroft's histological techniques by kim Suvarna et al. Can be followed. Sections are good in both however little tissue spreading occurs in fetal tissues when compared with post natal tissues.
