I am not so sure about the best tool, but I know what it is very important is that one have clear the variables. If one starts with mistakes, it would not matter if one would have the best tool. It also depends on what is the thing you want to measure , then you can make your mind for the best tool. I like very much SPSS>
Hello Pierre, I have used SPSS and epi-info, but not SAS. SPSS is really easy, menu driven or command and there are good books, SPSS analysis without anguish is one, epi-info I found much more difficult to learn. Thanks Debbie
In my opinion, if you have access to SPSS, go for it. There are many statistical commands and programs available in various tool boxes of MATLAB which can also be exploited for the purposes because MATLAB has interface with EXCEL.
There is no such tool which can give you the results of comparisons. However, you can make one in case of yours need for quantitative survey for comparing the softwae SPSS, SAS, or Epiinfo.
Followings are the metric points which be considered while making comparisons.
- General information: Developer, latest version, cost etc
- Operating system support
- ANOVA
- Regression
- Time series analysis, and
- Charts and diagrams
WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR - 2016.
It depends on the main matrix and the variables created in the database. Epiinfo seems to be more difficult, but when you compare the results everything is similar. I prefer EpiInfo
