What is the best ratio between extract and solvent with carbon tetrachloride?

I want to make an extraction with rotavap, I am using 3 grams of inulin and dissolve them with 24 ml of Dimethyl Acetamide, the acylation is done with methacryloyl chloride and palmitoil chloride, I want to extract the esters of inulin with water and carbon tetrachloride, but I do not know in what relation should I put both, water and carbon tetrachloride with my esterification solution.

i think 1:10 is beter.

1 sample to 10 ml of solvent try this.
