Please, can anyone suggest the best protocol for the isolation of adipocytes from mouse bone marrow ?

You can isolate the adherent population of bone marrow cells at 3-7 days after plating, expand and force them to differentiate by using a standard adipogenic cocktail. Alternatively, if you have an abundance of fat cells in marrow (fatty marrow) the cells can be purified by partial centrifugation at 600 xg where mature adipocytes remain in the top layer while the other cells pellet out.
