I need to take regular soil samples at a depth of 4 meters from a compacted sandy soil with some rocks, with the aim to monitor the mobilization of the applied fertilizers on the top. Already we've tried to do it with manual augers with no luck. Also with a JCB, but it took 3-4h just to do a single hole.

Any recommendation for a portable mechanical auger or drilling machine that can take samples at 4m depth with minimum sample alteration (as I'm looking for soluble P, N and S mainly)?
