The best way which i use to make slurry is first take active material and grind it well for 10 minutes and then add conductive carbon and grind both of them for about 15 minutes. after that this mixture transfer to any paper and add PVDF in the mortar and make a slurry with NMP and mix it well. At the end transfer the active material plus conductive carbon mixture to the mortar in which already mixed PVDF+NMP is there and then mix it for 10 minutes the homogenous slurry is ready for casting. this method is little time taking but very smooth slurry will form at the end.

pre dissolved in NMP ( make sure to use fine power form) dissolve below 60 oC for beta phase
