Sterilize the film then cover it with a very thin layer of Muller hinton agar. inoculate your test microbe with a known number of cells and incubate. Count the growing colonies and compare it with the control. Good luck.
You can add film (1*1 cm) to Muller hinton broth and inoculate with bacteria test after 24 hours than with tube count Muller hinton broth with bacteria only (Control) .
The inhibition percentage =( Control - test/ Control)* 100
I would use an adaption of BSEN 13697 using the film as the test surface or use the impregnated plastics test - i cant remember the exact name but it should do what you are after.
